I need to get used to going out a lot often these days…
Since arriving in Ireland in 2012, I often work from home. As a Consultant, I do not need to go to an office when I am not on a client site. It is a really good perk – especially after becoming a Mom. But the downside is the fact I am often cooped inside the house on weekdays. I never developed the habit to work inside cafes (too noisy for a meeting IMO) or to go for a “short walk” to get some fresh air (hard to do that when having back-to-back meetings). But now I am a stay-at-home Mom, I have to get my ass moving and get used to getting my vitamin D from the source.

My longest birthday celebration in Dublin by far!
I celebrated my birthday a couple of weeks ago. And to be honest, I was actually hoping for a different type of celebration. God did not give it to me (yet) but I would like to put my faith that He is just perfecting the timing for us all!

It wasn’t an easy decision to become a stay-at-home Mom..
5 years ago – I arrived in Ireland. 5 years ago – I started working with one of the biggest IT firms in the world. Blessed might be an understatement to what I have achieved and experienced in the past 10 years of my career. However, similar to what my Mom told me before getting married – things do change the moment you become a mother.
