We celebrated our fifth year wedding anniversary by having dinner at Pig’s Ear restaurant..
A few years ago, I wondered whether dining out will be as it used to be. You know, no need to feel embarrassed when the baby starts to cry or to worry about pram space to get in. And when I think about those moments, it made me think whether I’d be able to go back to Pig’s Ear again.

A late post, but let me share with you where we went for Mother’s Day..
Chinese food is one of my husband’s comfort food. But even if this is mostly my husband’s “thing” I also miss the occasional yang chow fried rice or Schezuan-based dishes quality Chinese restaurants around Dublin has to offer!
Similar to the years before, we celebrated Mother’s Day last May. We’ve grown accustomed to this because this is when we celebrate Mother’s Day in the Philippines. So, we decided to keep what we know!

A perfect brunch place just a little bit outside of Dublin city center..
My husband took some time off from work a day before his driving test. He thought that taking that extra day to “keep the test away from his mind” may help him to pass the test. We definitely had an enjoyable (and rare) brunch date that day. But unfortunately, it did not help him pass it, sigh.
For that day, we decided to go somewhere a little bit outside of Dublin city center. We did not take our son with us and left him with the minder since we only planned to step out in the morning and come back after brunch. So we ended up having our brunch at A Slice of Cake Cafe.

A birthday treat at Stone at Rustic by Dylan McGrath
I know I have been bombarding my blog lately with Galway-related posts (sorry!). But there was a lot of things to blog about that recent trip – the post would be too long if I try to squeeze everything in! Anyway, I’d like to take a Galway-writing break. So I will share a dining experience at Stone at Rustic by Dylan McGrath for today!
I recently celebrated my birthday. And it is our (my husband and me) sort of tradition to “treat” each other at a nice restaurant for a mini celebration on our special days. For this year, we went to Stone at Rustic. We’ve been eyeing this restaurant for quite a while, so I am happy to finally get the chance to visit!
