There are quite a few places I love going to for brunch in Dublin. I discovered about brunch while living in Melbourne in 2009 and loved it! Since relocating here, I have been on the lookout for good brunch places in Dublin – and this small cafe is definitely one of them!

My husband chose Chez Max at Palace St to celebrate Father’s Day last June..
It’s been a while since we dined at Chez Max at Palace St. And for a long time, I really, really thought it was Baggot St. LOL! Well, that only proves one thing – my sense of direction is terrible!!!!

French dining at Chez Max!
Having a toddler has its advantages. Especially for a child who loves food, eating out is now our chance for some peace and quiet. These days, my husband and I try to go back to the places we loved to dine before my son was born. Restaurants and cafes with very limited space used to be a far distant memory. And I feared I might need to wait for my son to become a teenager before we can go back. Lucky for us, that didn’t happen. My son is a toddler who loves food and that allowed us to go back to places such as Chez Max at Baggot Street to dine for a meal!
