An afternoon spent at the Museong Pambata and SM Mall of Asia..
We are spending some time with family before our big move. We didn’t plan any of these so we didn’t have any fixed itineraries during our stay. So ultimately, our plan was to have no plans at all! LOL! And, just let each day pass by and decide where to go and whom to meet as the days go by.

Enjoyed the lovely view while having lunch at Fallon and Byrne (People’s Park)..
A couple of weeks ago, we went to Dun Laoghaire for a quick family day out on a long weekend. Back then, we hoped that it was our last long weekend in Ireland. But it wasn’t. Nevertheless, it was great for us to experience the lovely seaside views in Dun Laoghaire during the last few summer days of 2017 – for sure!

Spencer Dock close to the Dublin Quays has been my home since 2012..
A lot happened this year. I left my job and became a SAHM, something I’ve wanted to become for quite a while. My days are still busy and sometimes stressful. But now, instead of negotiating with colleagues/clients over how work has to be done, now it becomes: nap time or not; cleaning up or not; going home or not – and a lot more things that are typically answerable with a ‘yes’ or ‘no’. But often times ending with a NO.

When we find ourselves in Howth, we often go to The Oar House
Howth is a top-choice when the sun is shining brightly in Dublin. It is a great place to spend the day walking around the area. Apart from buying fresh seafood from the local fish monger, there are good quality restaurants around the area, too!

Been a looong time since I’ve been to the Irish Village Markets even if it was super close to home!
Every Wednesday at lunchtime, there are food stalls selling freshly-made and easy-to-eat lunchboxes. The food options are quite good. There are gourmet burgers, paella, kebabs and the usual Irish staple – fish and chips! The location was literally just across the street from where we live but it’s been such a long time since I’ve been here! The market starts at around 11:30 AM and ends at around 2 or 3-ish in the afternoon. Roughly around the same time that I always get busy with meetings and work. But now that I am a stay-at-home Mom, I can finally grab a quick bite from the stalls! Yay!

The August Bank Holiday just passed by! That day, we spent the entire day in Dun Laoghaire..
With all the upcoming changes to our family, the August Bank Holiday weekend could be our last bank holiday here in Dublin. And because of that, we wanted to make the most of it – by going to places we’ve never been to before. One of those is Dun Laoghaire!

Had a mini celebration lunch at Yamamori along the Quays..
There’s a lot of things going on in our household over the past weeks. I don’t want to divulge anything at the moment until everything’s settled, though. But let’s just say that things are progressing quite nicely.

Why did we miss to go around Dongdaemun area when we visited last April?!
Let’s say that I am having some Seoul withdrawal symptoms recently. For the past weeks, I have been reminiscing on our experiences in Seoul. And, wish that it is far easier to go back than it is now!

This year, we had the End of Season Sale at the same time as Father’s Day!
We recently celebrated Father’s Day. And because the weather was so gloriously good on that day, we decided to spend the entire day outdoors!

We went to Howth during one of Ireland’s Bank Holiday long weekends..
Bank Holiday weekends are here again in Ireland. I think we are down to a couple more before the “holiday draught”. It is actually good to have these short breaks from work, especially if the weather is fantastic, too!
