On our trip to Seoul, I had a friend who came on the same weeks we were there. She was the same friend who visited us last year from Singapore – so I was thrilled we can meet even for just a day while we were there! We had our separate itineraries on most days but planned to do this activity (including my Mom) so we can have a bonding moment together!

I miss Seoul! And, definitely miss these top Korean foods..
I am definitely feeling the “Seoul hangover” vibe. If only it is easy to book the next plane ticket available to go to Seoul – I’d do that in a heartbeat. And, to be honest, I’d go anywhere to take a mini break these days, too!
Shopping aside, Korean food is one of the things I enjoyed while we were in Seoul. Kimchi is a normal side dish I often stuff my face with, which I have grown to love a lot more during the trip! So, just imagine I have probably tried all sorts of variants (and shapes!) of this famous Korean side-dish.

We went to Howth during one of Ireland’s Bank Holiday long weekends..
Bank Holiday weekends are here again in Ireland. I think we are down to a couple more before the “holiday draught”. It is actually good to have these short breaks from work, especially if the weather is fantastic, too!

The pride parade was on that weekend but I had to go to the city center for some errands..
A couple of weekends ago was gay pride in Dublin. A lot of people consider this a big achievement in Ireland, especially after the State legalized same-sex marriage. It could’ve been because of the country’s Catholic roots. Or, the fact there are still a lot of countries out there where individuals belonging to the LGBTQ community are still fighting for their rights. So for Ireland to officially recognize this right and grant to them – is such a huge milestone for the group!
